Provides intensive lightening of up to 9 levels and prepares lightened hair for toning. Built-in Plex technology helps protect hair bonds during lightening; complete the service with the system's designated after-treatment.

Wella BlondorPlex 9 is a powder lightener for intensive lift of up to nine levels. Built-in Plex technology combines lightening with bond protection, while anti-brass technology helps create a cleaner blonde base.

The product is also suitable for resistant, harder-to-lighten hair following an assessment of its condition. A complete BlondorPlex service follows bleaching with the system's No.2 after-treatment; select the toning formula according to the lift achieved.

What needs does this product address?

  • Intensive lightening of up to nine levels on a suitable base.
  • Treating harder-to-lighten hair following professional assessment.
  • Lightening within one system using Plex technology and No.2 after-treatment.

How the formula works

Plex technology is built into the powder, so the bond-protection component is already present in the lightening formula. Anti-brass technology helps create a clean, light base. Finish with the designated No.2 product as a separate after-treatment stage.

How to use

  • In a non-metallic bowl, mix one part powder with 1.5–2 parts Welloxon Perfect, choosing a concentration allowed for the specific technique.
  • Apply to dry, unwashed hair. For on-scalp application, use no more than 6% developer; do not use added heat.
  • Monitor lightening regularly and do not exceed a total development time of 50 minutes. Rinse thoroughly once a suitable base is achieved.
  • Finish with the system's No.2 after-treatment, following the instructions for the specific No.2 product used. Then select suitable toning for the final shade.

For professional use. Follow the application and safety instructions on the specific packaging.

About the product

BlondorPlex 9 creates a light base when intensive lift is required. The potential for up to nine levels represents the range's maximum lifting capacity; the result depends on starting pigment, previous treatments and hair structure. Regular monitoring is particularly important on resistant hair.

Plex technology is already included in the powder, adding bond protection during lightening, while anti-brass technology helps reduce unwanted warmth. These properties do not remove the need for a suitable developer, mixing ratio and development time for the technique used.

After rinsing, finish with BlondorPlex No.2 after-treatment. Assess lightness and hair condition before choosing a toner or glaze. BlondorPlex Cream Toner, Color Touch and Shinefinity each refine tone in a separate stage, with their own activator and mixing ratio.

Who is this product for?

For professional intensive lightening, including harder-to-lighten bases, when hair condition permits the intended service.

About Wella Professionals

Wella Professionals is a professional hair brand with roots in Germany. Its history began in 1880, when Franz Ströher established his business; the Wella name was registered in 1924. The brand's development is closely connected with hairdressing, professional colouring techniques and salon services.

Today, Wella Professionals offers professional hair colour, everyday care, intensive treatments and styling products. Its care ranges allow customers to continue their salon routine at home, selecting products according to their hair's condition and the result they want.

What is Wella Professionals known for?

Professional hair colouring is a central specialism. Koleston Perfect is a permanent hair colour range, while Color Touch and Illumina Color provide additional professional colouring options. The care portfolio is organised into ranges with different purposes, including damaged hair care, smoothing and colour maintenance.

ULTIMATE REPAIR uses AHA and Omega-9 for damaged hair care. ULTIMATE SMOOTH Miracle Oil Serum contains squalane and Omega-9 and is designed to leave hair looking smoother and shinier. These ingredients relate to specific products and ranges; check other formulas individually.

Shampoos and conditioners for regular care

Suitable shampoos form the foundation of a routine. Consider scalp needs alongside hair texture, dryness and colouring. After washing, appropriate hair conditioners complement care and help tailor the routine to the needs of the lengths.

ULTIMATE REPAIR, ULTIMATE SMOOTH and ULTIMATE COLOR

ULTIMATE REPAIR is developed for damaged hair. ULTIMATE SMOOTH focuses on smoothing and nourishment, while ULTIMATE COLOR is designed for colour-treated hair. Choose a range by identifying your main concern, whether that is damage, frizz or colour maintenance.

For more intensive care, add suitable hair masks. Leave-in treatments, serums and oils offer further options. Follow each product's instructions for application order and quantity.

Professional hair colour and EIMI styling

The choice of a professional colour system depends on the intended shade, the starting condition of the hair and the colouring technique. EIMI includes mousses, hairsprays, gels and texturising products, with options for volume, hold, smoothness and definition.

Who are Wella Professionals products for?

The brand suits hairdressers and customers seeking professional haircare for a specific purpose. Individual ranges offer options for dry, damaged, coloured or unruly hair. Hair texture, product consistency and application amount also matter when choosing a routine.

Start with shampoo and conditioner, adding a mask or leave-in treatment when needed. Select professional hair colour with your hairdresser and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
