1. Retail products (retail prices)

If you purchase products at the retail prices shown in the webshop, the Customer has the right to return a product within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving it, if:

  • the received product does not match the order (applies only to the product’s technical use and its ability to perform the required functions);

  • the product was damaged during transportation;

  • the product is damaged.

Important conditions

  • A product cannot be returned if its packaging has been opened.

  • We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of returned goods or to refuse a refund if:

    • the product is not returned in its original, unopened condition;

    • the packaging is mechanically damaged or defective;

    • the contents do not match the information stated in the product description.

  • SALON LINE does not assume ownership of returned goods until the goods have been delivered to the return destination.


2. Right of withdrawal (distance contract)

To use the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform us with a clear, reasoned and unambiguous notice of the decision to withdraw from the purchase (Order/Purchase contract).

  • The notice must be sent before the 14-day period ends.

  • During the withdrawal period, the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product.

3. Professional products (professional prices)

If you purchase professional products (products purchased at professional prices and intended for use only by registered professionals who are trained to use them), you have the right to return a product within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving it, if:

  • the received product does not match the order (applies only to the product’s technical use and its ability to perform the required functions);

  • the product was damaged during transportation;

  • the product is damaged.

  • A product cannot be returned if its packaging has been opened.

  • We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of returned goods or to refuse a refund if:

    • the product is not returned in its original, unopened condition;

For legal entities

Please note: the provisions of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia do not apply to purchases made by legal entities, including self-employed persons.

By placing an order for professional products, the Customer confirms that they are trained to use the ordered products and assumes full responsibility for any consequences of use. SALON LINE is not liable for consequences caused to third parties due to incorrect use of professional products.


4. Special condition: cosmetics, perfumery, hygiene products

If the purchased goods are considered perfumery, cosmetics or toiletry products, a consumer’s request to exchange a good-quality product for an equivalent product or to receive a refund, based on Latvian law, may be satisfied only with the Seller’s separate consent, following the procedure established by law.


5. Products that cannot be returned under the law

According to the legal regulations of the Republic of Latvia, certain goods cannot be returned, including:

  • tobacco and tobacco products;

  • perfumery, cosmetics or hygiene products;

  • photographic and cinematographic goods;

  • printed books, reproductions and other printed products;

  • fabrics;

  • carpets (except rugs and floor coverings);

  • knitted or crocheted underwear;

  • children’s clothing;

  • tights, socks and similar products;

  • underwear items, nightgowns, pajamas and similar products;

  • bras, vests, corsets and similar products;

  • machinery and mechanical devices;

  • electrical machines and equipment, sound recording and reproduction devices, as well as television image and sound recording/reproduction devices;

  • land vehicles;

  • ships, boats and floating structures;

  • optical, photographic, medical or surgical instruments and devices;

  • watches and clocks;

  • musical instruments;

  • weapons and ammunition;

  • furniture, bedding, lamps;

  • toys and games (except sports and fishing equipment);

  • works of art, collectibles and antiques;

  • plants, animals and food products of appropriate quality;

  • goods that, at the consumer’s request, have been specially prepared, sliced, etc.
