Before brushing the full length, separate a section and carefully detangle its ends. Then work towards the roots so the pins do not have to be pulled through knots. Brush the detangled section with an even stroke. Afterwards, remove any hair left in the brush so it does not build up around the pin base. Avoid prolonged soaking of the wooden body; after gentle washing, leave the brush to dry at room temperature, bristles down, away from radiators. Adjust the speed and pressure to your comfort, keeping contact light and even.
