Sets curls and waves after the perm lotion has been rinsed out. Hydrogen peroxide provides the final oxidising stage, while the ready-to-use formula requires no dilution before neutralising.

Wella Perform+ Perm Neutralizer is a ready-to-use neutraliser for the second stage of a perm service. Use after rinsing out the lotion to set the curls or waves created on perm rods.

Hydrogen peroxide provides the final oxidising stage. Do not dilute: apply part while the rods are in place and the remainder after removing them, following the two separate development stages.

What needs does this product address?

  • Setting curls and waves after the perm lotion.
  • Completing a Perform perm service with the designated neutraliser.
  • Two-stage neutralising with a ready-to-use product requiring no dilution.

How the formula works

The neutraliser contains hydrogen peroxide and completes the reshaping process started by the lotion. It is not a perm lotion and is not designed to create curls on its own. Shake before use and do not dilute with water.

How to use

  • After the perm lotion has developed, rinse thoroughly and blot excess water. Shake the neutraliser before use; do not dilute with water.
  • Use the amount specified in the system's instructions: first apply two-thirds while the rods are in place and leave for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the rods, apply the remaining neutraliser and leave for another 5 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly and finish with the designated after-treatment.

For professional use. Before the service, follow the application and safety instructions on the packaging.

About the product

Reshaping and setting the hair are two separate stages of a perm service. First, the lotion works on hair wound onto rods, then it is rinsed out thoroughly. Apply the neutraliser only after blotting excess water, following the specified sequence.

Apply two-thirds of the neutraliser while the hair remains on the rods and leave for five minutes. After removing the rods, distribute the remainder through the hair and leave for another five minutes. The product is ready to use, so no further dilution is required.

The neutraliser is designed to work with a Perform lotion chosen according to hair type. After the second development stage, rinse thoroughly and finish with the specified after-treatment or conditioner. This sequence completes the perm service with its required setting stage.

Who is this product for?

For completing a Perform perm service after rinsing out compatible N or C lotion, following the relevant variant's instructions.

About Wella Professionals

Wella Professionals is a professional hair brand with roots in Germany. Its history began in 1880, when Franz Ströher established his business; the Wella name was registered in 1924. The brand's development is closely connected with hairdressing, professional colouring techniques and salon services.

Today, Wella Professionals offers professional hair colour, everyday care, intensive treatments and styling products. Its care ranges allow customers to continue their salon routine at home, selecting products according to their hair's condition and the result they want.

What is Wella Professionals known for?

Professional hair colouring is a central specialism. Koleston Perfect is a permanent hair colour range, while Color Touch and Illumina Color provide additional professional colouring options. The care portfolio is organised into ranges with different purposes, including damaged hair care, smoothing and colour maintenance.

ULTIMATE REPAIR uses AHA and Omega-9 for damaged hair care. ULTIMATE SMOOTH Miracle Oil Serum contains squalane and Omega-9 and is designed to leave hair looking smoother and shinier. These ingredients relate to specific products and ranges; check other formulas individually.

Shampoos and conditioners for regular care

Suitable shampoos form the foundation of a routine. Consider scalp needs alongside hair texture, dryness and colouring. After washing, appropriate hair conditioners complement care and help tailor the routine to the needs of the lengths.

ULTIMATE REPAIR, ULTIMATE SMOOTH and ULTIMATE COLOR

ULTIMATE REPAIR is developed for damaged hair. ULTIMATE SMOOTH focuses on smoothing and nourishment, while ULTIMATE COLOR is designed for colour-treated hair. Choose a range by identifying your main concern, whether that is damage, frizz or colour maintenance.

For more intensive care, add suitable hair masks. Leave-in treatments, serums and oils offer further options. Follow each product's instructions for application order and quantity.

Professional hair colour and EIMI styling

The choice of a professional colour system depends on the intended shade, the starting condition of the hair and the colouring technique. EIMI includes mousses, hairsprays, gels and texturising products, with options for volume, hold, smoothness and definition.

Who are Wella Professionals products for?

The brand suits hairdressers and customers seeking professional haircare for a specific purpose. Individual ranges offer options for dry, damaged, coloured or unruly hair. Hair texture, product consistency and application amount also matter when choosing a routine.

Start with shampoo and conditioner, adding a mask or leave-in treatment when needed. Select professional hair colour with your hairdresser and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
