Shield™ Ceramic Base is a base and color in one. A range of natural-looking colors with good coverage. Lasts up to 28 days, suitable for nail extensions up to 2 mm or for repairing nail imperfections. The formula is firm in a gel-like structure that does not crack even on long and soft nails. It keeps its shape during the entire wearing time. Shield™ Ceramic Base has a thick consistency, does not drip or penetrate the cuticles. The base is self-leveling and allows you to create a perfect nail shape with a very smooth surface. It can be used in two ways - as a thin layer or as a building base. Shield™ Ceramic Base is HEMA-free, less likely to cause skin itching and redness compared to HEMA-containing formulas. Shield™ Ceramic Base cures in LED, UV/LED and UV lamps. Shield™ Ceramic Base can only be used in a build-up application technique. Application. Prepare the nail surface and apply a thin layer of Shield™ Ceramic Base. Dries 60 seconds in an LED or UV/LED lamp, or 120 seconds in a UV lamp. Continue with a thicker layer to form the top of the nail. Dry in a lamp. Finish the manicure with your chosen Shield™ top coat. Removal. Depresses the product until it is completely removed. Alternatively, file off most of the product, then soak the nail in an acetone remover such as Red Lizard until the product is completely removed.

Kinetics also uses a “Same Color” concept: SHIELD gel polish colours are available in the SolarGel range with matching colour numbers and names.
