How do you use the product?

For professional use only. MIXtone is a concentrated color corrector added to a Perlacolor formula to intensify a tone, neutralize an unwanted shade, or create a customized color direction. The colorist determines the amount of MIXtone based on the base level, underlying tone, selected Perlacolor shade, and desired correction intensity; it should not automatically be used as a standalone full-head color.

• Mixing principle: first create the Perlacolor color formula, including the required amount of MIXtone, then calculate the amount of Oyster Oxy Cream based on the total amount of color cream.
• For standard permanent coloring: the final color mixture to Oxy Cream ratio is generally 1:1; typical processing time is approximately 30–40 minutes, depending on the desired lift and developer.
• Tone-on-tone coloring: the final color mixture to 6–10 Vol. Oxy Cream ratio may be 1:2; processing time is approximately 15–20 minutes.
• For high-lift formulas: follow the relevant high-lift formula at a 1:2 ratio and an approximate processing time of 40–50 minutes.

Mix the color mass in a non-metallic bowl until completely smooth and apply evenly. MIXtone is highly pigmented, so choose the dose precisely and follow the complementary-color principle: correction intensity increases with the amount of pigment added. Check the result regularly during processing. After processing, emulsify with lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly, and finish with suitable Oyster care.
