Any chemical effect on the hair negatively affects its condition, making it weaker, dull and brittle. To prevent such changes, as well as to prevent their occurrence in the future, the masters of the Italian brand Oyster Cosmetics created a special regenerating fluid Passport Step 1 Regenerating Fluid. Its formula allows it to act on two levels: to restore the damaged areas of the hair and to restore the disulfide bonds in their structure. The special Hydra-Lux complex works on the hair at a molecular level, moisturizing and conditioning it, which not only helps to strengthen it, but also gives it a beautiful, healthy shine.
Features of Oyster Cosmetics Passport Step 1 Regenerating Fluid:
- the main active substance is succinic acid from natural amber;
- does not contain parabens, sulfates, EDTA, formaldehyde, petrolatum and dyes;
- suitable for hair coloring, bleaching, straightening, curling and restoration;
- restores flexibility and strength to curls;
- does not affect the duration of preservation of the result after the chemical procedure.
Method of use:
Add 0.5 ml. PASSPORT 1 for every 10 ml. cream colored. We recommend adding PASSPORT to the coloring mixture only to the length of the hair and not to use it when coloring the roots.
After applying the coloring mixture to the hair and the end of the exposure time, rinse with warm water, then use shampoo. Dry the hair with a towel and apply PASSPORT STEP 2 to the hair in the amount necessary to saturate the hair from the roots to the ends, comb it. This is important to continue the regeneration of hair that is still sensitive after a chemical treatment. Leave on hair for 5-10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
Add 3 ml. PASSPORT 1 for every 10 g of whitening cream. Leave it in your hair for the required time, then rinse it out with plenty of water. Use shampoo and towel dry your hair. Apply PASSPORT STEP 2 to the hair.
After the straightening procedure, rinse your hair thoroughly and dry with a towel. Mix 5 ml. PASSPORT 1 with 15 ml. PASSPORT STEP 2 and apply the mixture to the entire length of the hair, then comb with a wide-toothed comb. Leave on hair for 5 minutes, then rinse with warm water and start styling.

Born in Italy and shaped by decades of salon culture, Oyster Cosmetics is a beauty manufacturer dedicated to professional hair colour, haircare and selected skincare solutions. The company has been producing cosmetics since 1983 and has grown into a multi-brand group that serves both the professional channel and the consumer market worldwide. At the heart of Oyster is a simple promise: combine Italian style and formulation craft with disciplined research, so hairdressers and clients can trust the result every time.
Oyster is often described as “the colour professionals” because colouring is the Group’s core expertise. From permanent and tone-on-tone systems to lightening services, developers and complementary rituals, the brand ecosystem is designed to support the entire colour journey—from consultation and application to after-service protection and at-home maintenance. The aim is not only vivid shades and clean neutralisation, but also hair that feels healthier: smoother cuticles, better shine and improved manageability. To achieve that balance, Oyster pairs cosmetic sensoriality (creamy textures, pleasant fragrances, easy spreadability) with targeted ingredients—botanical actives where they add value, and modern molecules chosen for performance and predictability.
Professional performance is validated in real use. Oyster emphasises continuous testing and refinement so that salon products deliver consistent processing, reliable coverage and creative freedom. That focus on usability matters: when timing, viscosity and rinseability behave as expected, stylists can concentrate on artistry and client experience rather than troubleshooting.
Education is the other engine of the brand. Through the West Garda Academy, Oyster invests in the people who bring formulas to life. Courses cover technical colour knowledge, cutting and styling inspiration, and the business skills that help salons thrive. Alongside training, the Group provides protocols, technical consultancy and structured “rituals” that allow teams to standardise results, elevate service menus and communicate value to clients. Oyster’s goal is to help hairdressers evolve into confident beauty entrepreneurs.
While the professional world is Oyster’s natural home, the Group also speaks to consumers who want salon-inspired results between appointments. Its home-care approach blends effectiveness with pleasure: lightweight or rich textures depending on the need, fragrance signatures that feel indulgent, and routines that encourage a moment of wellbeing. The brand philosophy here is “results that keep their promises”—treatments that are easy to integrate and clearly visible in the mirror and to the touch.
Oyster’s international footprint reflects that versatility. The Group distributes in more than 80 countries and adapts offers to local hair types, trends and regulatory requirements. Being multichannel is not an afterthought; it is a capability built into the organisation, allowing Oyster to collaborate with salons, distributors, retailers and professional educators.
A distinctive part of Oyster Cosmetics is its private label expertise. For partners who want to build or expand their own brand, Oyster offers end-to-end development supported by dedicated consultants and cross-functional teams in R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing and packaging. Projects can range from adapting an existing base formula to creating a fully customised product, complete with compliant documentation and design-ready packaging solutions. This “your brand, our expertise” approach makes Oyster not only a brand house, but also a manufacturing partner.
Responsible innovation is increasingly central to how Oyster operates. The company communicates a commitment to evolving packaging choices—such as recycled and recyclable materials—and to formulations aligned with modern expectations, including vegan-friendly options and “free from” approaches where relevant (for example, excluding certain ingredients like mineral oils or EDTA in specific ranges). The point is pragmatic sustainability: improvements that maintain professional efficacy while reducing unnecessary impact.
Ultimately, Oyster Cosmetics stands for Italian-made beauty that works in the real world. It is a group built on colour mastery, continuous research, training and collaboration—helping professionals create beautiful transformations and helping consumers keep that feeling of “just left the salon” confidence at home. Everywhere, daily.
