AquaFinesse SpaClean spa cleaning tablet, 1 tablet

Even when visible tub surfaces look clean, biofilm and limescale can remain inside the pipework. New spas can also contain water and deposits left after factory testing. AquaFinesse SpaClean is designed to loosen these deposits from the tub's internal surfaces and pipework before draining.

Spa cleaning tablet for the tub and pipework

• Helps loosen biofilm, organic dirt and limescale from the spa system.
• For deep cleaning before changing the water, generally every 3–4 months.
• Suitable for preparing a new spa and switching from conventional water care to AquaFinesse.
• One tablet treats up to 2500 l of spa water.
• Developed for hard-shell spas with pipework; not intended for inflatable spas.

Composition

Contains sodium carbonate at 25 % to less than 50 %, disodium metasilicate at 20 % to less than 25 %, and aluminium potassium sulphate dodecahydrate at 10 % to less than 20 %. Also contains the oxygen-based bleaching agent pentapotassium bis(peroxymonosulphate) bis(sulphate) at 1 % to less than 3 %. This is a cleaner for use in a separate treatment cycle before changing the water.

How to use

Step 1. Plan treatment before changing the water. Clean with the spa filled with water; one tablet treats up to 2500 l.

Step 2. Remove the filter. Open all massage jets and air valves so the solution can circulate through the system.

Step 3. Dissolve the tablet in a separate bucket of lukewarm water taken from the spa. Add the solution to the spa water.

Step 4. Run the pumps at full power for 20 minutes.

Step 5. Repeat pump activation at least another 2–3 times over the next 6–12 hours. Choose the treatment duration within this period according to the degree of soiling.

Step 6. At the end of treatment, run the pumps once more, then drain the spa completely.

Step 7. Rinse the tub thoroughly with fresh water. Do not add another cleaner while rinsing.

Step 8. Refit the clean filter, fill the tub with fresh water and resume regular water care and disinfection.

Do not bathe during treatment. If foam appears, do not touch it or inhale the aerosol. Wear protective gloves and eye protection and ensure good ventilation. Keep in the original packaging, out of reach of children. If the packaging specifies a different treatment procedure, follow the instructions for that particular pack.

Product story

The entire spa water circulation system needs periodic deep cleaning. SpaClean is designed for this task: it helps loosen biofilm and limescale from pipework and the tub's internal surfaces before changing the water. The pumps circulate the cleaning solution through the system.

Deep cleaning is also suitable when preparing a new tub. Water can remain in the pipework after factory testing, allowing deposits to form before the first bathing session. SpaClean can therefore be used for both existing spa maintenance and preparing a new spa.

Changing the water or switching to the AquaFinesse care system is a suitable time for this treatment. Dissolve the tablet, add it to the spa water and run the pumps. After treatment, drain, rinse and refill the tub. Deep cleaning thus becomes a separate maintenance stage before preparing fresh water for the next bathing session.
