DELPHIN Spa pipe cleaner is a liquid cleaner for hot tub and whirlpool bath pipework. It removes accumulated dirt particles, deposits and biofilm, a layer in which microorganisms can multiply. It cleans inside the pipes, which remain out of sight when only the bath surface is cleaned. The pack contains 1000 ml.

Even when the water looks clean, a layer of dirt can remain inside the pipes. Using the product before a water change helps remove this layer and thoroughly clean both the bath and the pipes through which the water circulates. During cleaning, the massage system moves the solution through the pipes. At the end, drain all the dirty water and rinse the bath. This pipe cleaning process can be included in regular maintenance and combined with a planned water change.

Ingredients

The cleaning mixture contains benzyl-C12–C16-alkyldimethylammonium chlorides (quaternary ammonium compounds), 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid, tetradecyldimethylamine oxide and propan-2-ol (isopropyl alcohol).

The mixture contains cationic and amphoteric surfactants. It is intended to remove biofilm and dirt deposits from pipework. After cleaning, drain all the water and rinse the bath with clean water.

How to use

Clean before changing the water. Choose the dose according to the bath type, water volume and pack label instructions.

• Hot tubs in which the water is kept between bathing sessions: 300–500 ml per 1000 l of water, depending on the amount of dirt and the intensity of foaming. For example, a bath containing 500 l of water requires 150–250 ml of product.
• Whirlpool baths filled for each bathing session: 125 ml per 100 l of water. For example, a bath containing 200 l of water requires 250 ml of product.
• Regular maintenance: clean whirlpool bath pipes after no more than eight uses or two months, whichever comes first.

Cleaning steps

• 1. Prepare the bath. Fill the bath with water to approximately 5–10 cm above the massage jets. Turn off the air supply to the massage system.
• 2. Add the product. Measure the appropriate dose for the water volume and add it to the bath water, following the pack label instructions.
• 3. Flush the pipes with the cleaning solution. Switch on the water massage system and run it for approximately 10 minutes, leaving the air supply switched off.
• 4. Drain and rinse. Switch off the massage system, drain all the water and rinse the bath with clean water.

Do not mix the concentrated product with other chemicals. Store in a tightly closed container in a cool place. Dispose of the used cleaning solution and packaging according to the label instructions and local requirements.

Wear protective gloves and safety goggles. The product causes severe skin burns and serious eye damage and is very toxic to aquatic life. Keep out of reach of children and follow the safety instructions on the label.
