CHEMOFORM Chemoclor T-Granulat 65 chlorine granules, 3 kg
Fast-dissolving chlorine granules raise chlorine concentration in pool water and disinfect during shock chlorination. The stabilised formulation is also suitable for hard water. Ideal for preparing the pool for the swimming season or raising chlorine concentration quickly.
CHEMOFORM Chemoclor T-Granulat 65 chlorine granules disinfect pool water and rapidly raise the chlorine concentration. The 3 kg pack contains stabilised, fast-dissolving organic chlorine granules.
The active ingredient is sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate, a stabilised organic chlorine compound for water disinfection. The granules dissolve quickly without residue, making them suitable for both rapid chlorine adjustment and regular chlorination. They can be used regardless of water hardness, including in very hard pool water.
A single granular product covers several water treatment needs: initial treatment after filling the pool, routine disinfection and shock chlorination. Pre-dissolving the granules and circulating the water helps distribute the product evenly without exposing the pool liner to direct contact with undissolved granules.
Chlorine granules for shock chlorination
- Dissolve quickly to raise chlorine concentration rapidly.
- Suitable for shock chlorination, including at the start of the pool season.
- Stabilised organic chlorine granules.
- Also suitable for hard pool water.
How to use
Check the water pH and chlorine concentration. Select the dose according to the water volume and the dosing instructions on the pack label. Add the granules to a container already filled with water, dissolve them and pour the solution evenly around the pool edges. Do not add granules directly to the pool or mix with other chemicals. Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
Choosing the dose and distributing it evenly
- Prepare the water. Use a tester to measure pH and free chlorine. Maintain pH between 7.0 and 7.6, taking the pool equipment requirements into account.
- Choose the dose for the treatment required. For a newly filled pool and shock chlorination, the guide dose is 80–100 g per 10 m³ of water. For regular chlorination, the guide dose is 50 g per 10 m³ every three days. Adjust the actual dose and treatment frequency to the water test results and the dosing instructions on the specific pack label.
- Dissolve separately. Use a plastic container filled with water first. Add the measured granules to the water and dissolve. Never pour water onto concentrated granules.
- Add while the circulation system is running. Pour the solution slowly around the pool edges and evenly over the water surface. Ideally, treat the pool in the evening when nobody is swimming.
- Allow the water to mix. Keep circulation running for at least three hours and until the entire pool water volume has passed through the system. Then check chlorine concentration and pH again. Resume swimming only when the water readings meet the values specified on the label.

The product story
At the start of the pool season, water care needs a clear plan: test the water, adjust pH and provide disinfection. CHEMOFORM Chemoclor T-Granulat 65 has a specific role in this process: rapidly increasing chlorine concentration. It is intended for times when shock chlorination is needed, such as preparing the pool for a new season.
The product combines a granular form with rapid dissolution in water. The stabilised organic chlorine is also suitable for hard water, while the amount required depends on pool volume, water test results and the treatment intended. Water care is therefore guided by a specific need and measurable water parameters.
CHEMOFORM's history began in 1962, and safety is a guiding principle from product development through to use. These granules complement a water care range with separate products for pH adjustment, disinfection and cleaning. Thoughtful care helps prepare the pool for the next swim.
Who is it suitable for?

About CHEMOFORM
CHEMOFORM is a German pool water care brand established in 1962. It specialises in water treatment products for private and public swimming pools. Its range covers water balance, disinfection, algae control, clarification and cleaning.
These product groups support a structured maintenance routine. Regular water care, adjustments to individual water parameters and periodic cleaning require different treatments. Before choosing a product, check its intended use and compatibility with your pool or spa equipment.
What is CHEMOFORM known for?
The brand’s approach centres on water analysis and accurate dosing. Water conditions are assessed first, then a treatment is selected to address the identified need. This makes measured water values the starting point for product selection and maintenance planning.
Compare products by function as well as pack size and format. Granules, tablets and liquids may have different applications and dosing methods. Instructions for one product should not be applied to another simply because both belong to the same category.
CHEMOFORM products
Disinfection and water balance
Disinfectants are intended to maintain water hygiene. Water balancers adjust specific parameters, such as pH. These product groups perform different tasks, so a pH adjuster does not replace a disinfectant.
When comparing options, consider the treatment purpose, water volume and application frequency. Determine the dose from the individual product label and water test results. Even products with a similar appearance may have different application requirements.
Algae control, clarification and cleaning
The CHEMOFORM range also includes products for algae control, improved water clarity and pool cleaning. These complement routine water care, with each group serving a specific purpose. If water becomes cloudy, foam develops or deposits appear, assess the possible cause before selecting a treatment.
For spa maintenance, browse the hot tub water care products category. Check the product description to establish whether a treatment is intended for warm spa water, pipework or another part of the system. Products in the same category may have different applications.
Who are CHEMOFORM products suitable for?
The range is relevant to private pool owners and professionals responsible for public swimming pools. Spa and hot tub owners should choose products specifically intended for their system.
Before buying, establish whether you need routine disinfection, water balance adjustment or cleaning. Compare the product’s function, application requirements and pack quantity with the maintenance task and your ongoing pool or spa care plan.
