Comb A 611. Suitable for hair-styling and lifting. Fork-type handle with stainless steel needles. All Triumph Master combs are made in higher-quality templates, creating perfect shapes and protecting them from rough and unequal edges that can damage hair during combing. A combination of polycarbonate and polyoxyethylene (POM) is used to produce combs that allow for the production of combs that meet the higher quality requirements. Polycarbonate is known for its great endurance and performance, so combs made of polycarbonate have a high degree of endurance and wear. In addition, all sculpting combs made from POM have great flexibility, which is particularly relevant in the hair-making process. Both raw materials guarantee optimal comb stability and excellent resistance to most chemicals used during hair treatment. • Antistatic. • Effective against bacteria and fungi thanks to antibacterial agents. • Long service life (over 5 years). • Resistant to the effects of heat and chemical hair cosmetics. • Rounded by hand.

Hercules Sägemann is a heritage German brand in the professional haircare tools category, best known for combs, brushes and grooming accessories that combine craftsmanship, technical performance and salon practicality. The company traces its origins to the mid-nineteenth century and presents itself as a brand with more than 160 years of experience in comb making. Its story is closely tied to Germany’s industrial history: the business developed from the hard-rubber comb tradition in Hamburg, the two historic names Hercules and Sägemann were brought together in 1930, and production later moved to modern facilities in Lüneburg. Throughout this history, the brand has preserved a strong identity built on quality, sustainability, functionality and trust among hair professionals.

At the heart of the brand is its premium comb manufacturing. Hercules Sägemann’s signature combs are made from 100% vulcanised natural rubber, also called ebonite, a material valued for being flexible yet dimensionally stable. According to the company, these premium combs are made in Germany and refined by hand in more than 40 work steps. The process includes sawing, cutting, grinding and polishing, and it is central to the brand’s reputation. The company places particular emphasis on the rounded, burr-free teeth of its combs, which are designed to move smoothly through the hair and across the scalp. This is more than a detail of finish: it expresses the brand’s promise of gentleness, control and reduced stress on the hair during professional use.

This positioning helps explain why Hercules Sägemann is strongly associated with salon culture. Hairdressers value tools that are comfortable to hold, dependable under pressure and precise in their performance, and the brand consistently frames its products around these needs. Its premium hard-rubber combs are promoted as ergonomic, twist-resistant yet flexible, and resistant to heat and chemicals, making them suitable for the demanding routines of cutting, styling and technical services in the salon. The gold-foil Hercules Sägemann mark used on selected combs reinforces the image of a crafted professional tool rather than a disposable accessory.

While tradition is an essential part of the brand story, Hercules Sägemann does not present itself as old-fashioned. The company explicitly connects heritage with innovation and extends its assortment beyond handmade hard-rubber combs. Its portfolio also includes high-tech combs made from carbon and plastic, along with a broad brush offering designed for detangling, styling, massaging the scalp and general hair care. This wider product architecture allows the brand to serve different user preferences, price points and performance requirements without losing its premium core. Materials are selected according to function, whether the goal is lightweight handling, durability, flexibility or a specific styling effect.

Another important part of the brand identity is the relationship between manufacturing know-how and professional feedback. Hercules Sägemann states that its comb-making tradition, expertise in thermoplastic moulded parts and close cooperation with hairdressers shape its quality standards. That message places the brand at the intersection of craft and applied product development: it is not simply preserving legacy methods, but refining tools around real working needs. The result is a catalogue that feels both rooted in specialist heritage and relevant to contemporary salon demands.

Overall, Hercules Sägemann stands for German-made hair tools with a distinctive blend of history, craftsmanship and professional performance. The brand appeals to stylists, barbers and quality-focused consumers who want more than a basic comb or brush. It offers products designed to feel precise in the hand, gentle in the hair and durable in daily use, making Hercules Sägemann a credible premium name in the world of hairdressing tools. Its brand message is clear: carefully made tools can elevate everyday grooming and professional styling alike, with materials and finishes chosen to support comfort, longevity, reliability and consistently polished results every day for salons and homes alike.
