• Step 3. With the jets running, add salt to the filter compartment one measured portion at a time, using the measuring cup supplied with the product. Allow approximately five minutes for it to dissolve; test only once the salt has fully dissolved.
• Step 4. Repeat the salt test. If the reading is still too low, add another portion, wait for it to dissolve and retest. The recommended salt concentration for the FreshWater Salt System is 1750 ppm; the operating range is 1500–2000 ppm.
• Step 5. During ongoing care, add salt according to test readings, adjusting the dose to the actual water volume and concentration. If you use an ACE system, follow its specific dosing instructions.

Salt alone does not replace the chlorine generated by the system or regular water testing. After preparing the water, also check the sanitiser level and water chemistry balance.
